The Company underlines its social commitments in partnership with the restaurant chain
Social development is one of JBS’ tenets and the Company is taking action and investing in a better future. Based on this commitment, JBS sponsored the traditional Ronald McDonald Institute gala dinner which was held to raise funds for children and teenagers with cancer.
In November, the 11th edition of the gala dinner at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in São Paulo attracted around 500 guests, including businessmen, executives and celebrities. It was a night filled with celebration and love.
The event was another chapter in the robust partnership between JBS and McDonald’s. The close relationship was recently highlighted when JBS received a trophy and a letter from McDonald’s for its commitment to the McHappy Day and the partnership’s great results.
To highlight the importance of cancer awareness and treatment, Friboi and Seara, both JBS subsidiaries, distributed vouchers that could be exchanged for a traditional BigMac on McHappy Day, which was held on August 24. The vouchers were distributed to Team Members at the Company’s headquarters in São Paulo, ensuring the campaign achieved great results.
Friboi and Seara are McDonald’s biggest hamburger suppliers.
