Compliance and ethicscommitment
“Always Do the Right Thing” is not just the name of JBS’s global Compliance program. It is an attitude that all staff is encouraged to practice day-to-day. In 2017 and 2018, new directors were appointed to lead the compliance area in Brazil, the US and globally to reinforce efforts in this theme.

JBS is constantly looking at ways it can help local communities grow through social, educational and professional training initiatives. In Brazil, the Germinare Institute provides high quality teaching and the opportunity to train as a Business Management technician. In the US, the Company played a major role in helping rebuild the small city of Marshalltown after it was hit by a hurricane, and in Canada, our investment in the JBS Canada Centre helped build a multisports arena and expanded the local library.
