The Barretos plant obtained its first quality management system certificate, while the Lins plant,

which is also based on the state of São Paulo, was recertified

JBS Embalagens Metálicas ongoing investment in training and improvement to its management systems is reaping further rewards: in this case, ISO 9001:2015 certification for its factories located in the interior of São Paulo. The Lins plant was recertified, while the Barretos unit obtained its first certificate. ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized quality management standard.

Both units managed to obtain approval, without any restrictions, for all of the processes covered by the standard. The audit, carried out by the Vanzolini Foundation, assessed all of the quality management systems at each business unit, including the production, support, administration, commercial, Human Resources and management areas, among others.

“We are very pleased to have obtained certification at both plants, which is evidence we are moving along the right path. This result is based on the hard work all our teams do every day. Certification will also give us additional encouragement to maintain our high quality standards”, said Marcelo Jorcovix, director of JBS Embalagens Metálicas.
