The event will take place on September 3 and 4
São Paulo, September 2, 2019 – The 2019 Nelore Quality Circuit is coming to Lins, São Paulo. The stage will take place on September 3 and 4 at the local Friboi plant. The Circuit is an initiative organized by the Brazilian Association of Nelore Breeders (ACNB) and supported by the Nelore Breeders São Paulo branch (APCN), Friboi and Matsuda Sementes e Nutrição Animal. Regional breeders can contact the factory and register animals for the event.
“The Circuit can help producers establish a standard that follows company rules by supplying detailed information on animal age, weight and fat cover, providing better prices to breeders and increasing the quality of meat that reaches consumer’s tables”, said Nabih Amin El Aouar, president of the ACNB.
All cattle breeders, ACNB associates or otherwise, can participate in the Nelore Quality Circuit, regardless of herd size or production focus. Lots of 18 animals or more can be enrolled. ACNB members will also have an opportunity to slaughter animals using the Friboi Natural Nelore Protocol, which offers bonuses of up to R$ 10.50 per arroba based on carcass characteristics and farm eligibility.
“We expect to assess almost one thousand animals at this stage of the Circuit. We hope regional cattle breeders come to this very important event which is supporting development across the industry”, said Luiz Gustavo Garcia Ribeiro, president of the APCN.
“Friboi is extremely pleased with the results achieved so far. The 2019 edition, the first one we are supporting, is set to be the biggest ever Nelore Circuit”, said Fábio Dias, Friboi’s Farmer Relations director.
