Sao Paulo, August 7, 2019 – JBS is one of the sponsors of this year’s 43rd edition of ExpoLins (Agricultural, Cattle, Industrial and Commercial Exhibition), taking place between August 7 and 11 in Lins, São Paulo. The Company will have a stand with an institutional display providing information on all its regional operations.
The Lins industrial complex is one of the most multifaceted JBS operations and home to various major business units, such as: Friboi (producing natural meat, frozen cooked beef, prepared foods, hamburgers, jerky etc.), JBS Couros and JBS Novos Negócios with its JBS Biodiesel, JBS Ambiental, JBS Embalagens Metálicas, NovaProm, JBS Higiene & Limpeza and JBS Transportadora divisions. This structure employs over six thousand people. That is why the exhibition, which includes pictures and videos, is a great opportunity to show visitors the diverse product and service mix these business units offer and highlight the Company’s importance to the region.
To enhance the experience, the JBS stand will also offer the visitors an opportunity to try out meals prepared using raw materials produced in Lins, such as products from the Bordon range, part of the Friboi Prepared Foods brand. Visitors will have an opportunity to try: Black bean and sausage soup; smoked and spicy sausage appetizers; and mayonnaise salad with chicken and vegetables. The area will also have a totem for photographs and facilities to print the images.
In addition to the stand, which is open to everyone, JBS will also have an exclusive booth where it will welcome guests, customers and suppliers. Inside the booth, the Company will have activities with regional digital influencers using the hashtag #JBSnaExpolins.
The booth will also have meals prepared using Friboi products produced in Lins. Guests will be able to enjoy the Do Chef Friboi Smoked Shredded Meat and the Do Chef Friboi Chili con Carne; in addition to the aforementioned Black bean and sausage soup, smoked and spicy sausage appetizers and mayonnaise salad with chicken and vegetables.
JBS has sponsored ExpoLins since 2013. The free event is organized by the Rural Association and supported by the local City Hall. According to organizers, over 150 thousand people are expected over all five days of the event taking place at the “José Maurício Junqueira de Andrade” Expo Center – Road to Lins/Getulina.
