The Company will represent every export destination at the Centenary Square event, focusing on the history behind its local factory
Forquilhinha, October 11, 2019 – JBS, one of the biggest companies in Forquilhinha, plans to highlight its ties to the local community and the world during the Traditional Parade, one of the main attractions at Heimatfest, a festival celebrating local traditions. At 10 am on Sunday (13), the Company will be showcasing the history of its regional plant, built in 1963, and its export destinations at Forquilhinha’s Centenary Park.
Representatives from the factory’s 1800 employees will be joining the parade in their uniforms to represent all areas of the company, tell people a little of the factory’s 50-year story and highlight its current importance to the city. “We will also be showcasing our exports. Nearly everything we make in Forquilhinha is exported to Europe and Asia. The countries that import our products, such as Germany, will be represented at the event with flags and traditional garments”, said Juliane Messaggi, HR manager at the local plant.
After starting out as Frisulca, over the past 56 years the plant has been managed by Agroeliane, Cargill and Marfrig and has been run by JBS since 2013. The company will also offer visitors an opportunity to find out more about the standards of excellence at the facility.
