Company invests annually in research to bring cutting edge solutions to the US market
Sao Paulo, June 7, 2018 – JBS Couros, one of the world’s leading leather processing companies, will be attending the Showtime Market, one of the US furniture industry’s most important shows. This year, the Company will be showcasing around 20 high added-value articles with the leather already applied to several different models of armchair.
With this novel approach, customers will be able to feel the texture of the material used to make the furniture leathers and truly see its quality, high added value and many other characteristics, such as the products’ beauty and flexibility. The leathers – represented by around 200 SKUs available for immediate delivery on the US market – are compatible with a wide range of styles, from contemporary to traditional.
Solana and Hercules are two of the items that will be on show at the JBS Couros event showroom. The items undergo a unique retanning process giving them a special touch, while retaining the leather’s original characteristics. The articles are the result of ongoing investment in Research & Development to better understand and fulfill US market requirements. The Company currently operates a leather warehouse in Hickery, North Carolina, speeding up the product sales and delivery process.

Conceria Priante, a JBS Couros unit based in Italy focusing on the luxury and premium markets, will also be attending Showtime to present the innovative interpretations of its leather goods, which meld creativity with tradition. Priante is currently an international benchmark as one of the foremost companies in the furniture, leather and fashion segments.
Showtime Market runs from June 3 to 6 in the city of High Point – the center of the US furniture industry – North Carolina. The event is held twice a year and attracts more than 800 leather buyers from around the world.
